1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach of security.

2. Use of Services

The Services allow you to receive safety alerts based on your location, view and submit incident reports, and use other features including AI-driven analysis of safety events.

You agree to use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will not (and will not assist others to) do any of the following:

• Use the Services for unlawful or malicious purposes (including but not limited to stalking, harassment, defamation or hate speech);
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content or abuse the alert system;
• Interfere with or disrupt our systems, networks or other users' access;
• Reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Services;
• Use automated systems or scripts to access or submit content without our express permission.

3. Location & Alert Notifications

Because AnyShield is location-driven, you must grant permission for your device's location services for full functionality. If you disable or restrict location access, alert accuracy and timeliness may be reduced.

Alerts you receive are based on multiple data sources including your device location, user-submitted content and automated analysis. These alerts may not always be correct or timely; you acknowledge and accept that the Services may not be error-free.

4. Content You Submit

When you submit content (such as incident reports, photos, videos, comments), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and display that content in connection with the Services.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the rights to submit any content you provide, and that your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate these Terms.

You understand that any content you post may be viewed by other users and may be publicly visible, depending on your selection. Do not submit confidential or proprietary information unless you intend it to be shared.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as-is" and "as available." We expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted use.

Without limiting the foregoing, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Company does not warrant that alerts or incident detection are accurate, complete, or timely. You understand that you should not rely solely on the Services for emergency or safety decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Company or its affiliates, officers, directors, employees or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, judgments, fines, costs or expenses arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services (including your content submission or your interactions with other users).

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, design, text, graphics, trademarks, logos and other content provided by us, are owned or licensed by the Company. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Paid Services & Subscriptions

If the Services include paid features, subscriptions or premium tiers, those are governed by additional terms (billing, refunds, cancellations). We may change pricing and features at any time, subject to notice where required by law.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and without notice (except where required by law). Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, and we may delete or anonymize your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Arbitration: You and Company agree that any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis (not class). You waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

If a court or arbitrator finds a part of this section unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the revised version and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
