What is AnyShield?
AnyShield is a real-time public safety platform that aggregates and classifies incidents from multiple sources, then alerts you about emergencies happening near your location.
Why does AnyShield need my location?
AnyShield uses your location to show incidents near you on the map and to send relevant push notifications about emergencies in your area. Background location access allows us to alert you even when the app is closed. Your location data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
How do I enable or disable notifications?
On iOS, go to Settings > Notifications > AnyShield to manage your notification preferences. Within the app, you will be prompted to enable notifications during onboarding.
What do the map markers mean?
Red markers indicate confirmed incidents verified by multiple sources. Yellow markers indicate reported incidents that have not yet been confirmed. Gray markers indicate general informational events.
How current are the incidents?
The map displays incidents from the last 24 hours. Events are ingested and classified in near real-time as first responder radio communications are processed.
